An online class is a course conducted over the Internet. They are generally conducted through a learning management system, in which students can view their course syllabus and academic progress, as well as communicate with fellow students and their course. As, we know the world is facing a tough time due to Covid-19. All the educational institutes and other organizations are closed. We are not able to attend our classes physically. But the educational institutions have a new way to continue our teaching learning activities by E-learning (online education). You have no longer to be physically present in class to learn, and while the environment of online learning is different from traditional classroom setup, it doesn't necessarily mean it is less effective.
Advantages
- Students have the chance to study in their own time and especially for free.
- It represent a great way to study many fields and to boost the level of self-motivation.
- It is so effective because students can finish their homework quickly.
- It has become more benefical for teachers because they can keeps records of every assignments, assessment and academic performances of each students.
- Students can get the answers individually without being disturbed.
Disadvantages
- Students may face unstable internet connection which affects their teaching learning activities.
- Students can even chat privately in the online class without being known by the teacher.
- Some students try to enter class with a false name and sending messages and scribbling in the shared screen.
- Some teachers too don't have enough skills and knowledge to use technology / e-gadgets for teaching which creates a big issue.
